Pocahontas, AR (KAIT) – A man and a woman have been arrested on drug charges.
According to the police report, Pocahontas police arrested Billy Clyde Wheeler, 18, and Katelyn Mathews, 19, after serving a search warrant at a Pocahontas residence.
The police department along with the 3rd Judicial Drug Task force found and seized various items associated with the storage, manufacture, and use of controlled substances.
Police arrested Wheeler and Mathews at the scene and transported them to the Randolph County Jail.
Wheeler and Mathews were charged with delivery of marijuana, class D felony, and manufacturing marijuana and possession with intent to deliver marijuana, both class C felonies. They were also charged with one drug paraphernalia count, class B felony, and three drug paraphernalia counts, class C felonies.
At a bond hearing, a judge set Wheeler's bond for $30,000.00.
