BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) – Motorcyclists pulled into Riverside Park in Batesville this weekend for a host of activities.
The city held its second annual Batesville, Bikes and Backroads event.
The festivities included several organized rides, games, a "biker babe pageant" and live music.
Tami Meyer, the tourism director of Batesville, says the visitors help rev up the local economy.
"Getting people in town, spending money, having people see how pretty Batesville is," Meyer said, "more compliments have come off being here at the river for people that hadn't been here before that they definitely want to come back here."
Several bands took the stage Saturday evening to wrap up the event, and admission was free.
