JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The new NEA Baptist Hospital opened its unfinished doors to give residents a glimpse at what it will look like once finished.
Hospital representatives took groups through the building explaining what people can expect when the project is complete. NEA Baptist Clinic COO said the new hospital will provide a new way to help serve patients.
"It's going to totally change the way we provide patient care. It's going to provide an integrated health delivery system." She says the new hospital will allow doctors and NEA Baptist to work closely together.
Horton says the new hospital will be very convenient for all patients, including those who visit their clinical facility. "They are going to be able to get all their services at one location." Horton says labs, doctors, and specialists will all be in the same building.
The NEA Baptist hospital is scheduled to open June 2013 and will add 500 new jobs to the area.
