Arkansas Congressman Proposes Separate Service Medals for Soldiers Fighting Battle Against Terrorism

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Separate campaign medals for service in Afghanistan and in Iraq will be the law if President Bush signs a measure approved by the Senate.  Members of Arkansas' congressional delegation announced yesterday that the measure by Congressman Vic Snyder had passed the Senate on a 98-0 vote.

Announcement of Senate approval came in a joint news release from Snyder and Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor of Arkansas.
