Debit card stolen in Trumann, police looking for information

TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) – Police arelooking for information on a wallet theft at a Trumann convenience store.

According to Trumann police, KennethStokes told them someone had picked up his wallet at Jordan's Quick Stop on 301HWY 463 N sometime between 8:20 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday, June 2 and removedtwo debit cards, a driver's license and a social security card. The wallet wasfound on Harline Street that runs behind the business.

When the wallet was returned, police saidStokes had informed that $70 in purchases were made with his US Bank DebitCard.

At the time of the report,investigators said Stokes was unaware of the purchases, but had cancelled atleast one of his debit cards.

Police said they found that the $70had been removed from an ATM at First Delta Bank on Hwy 463 around 1:44 p.m.June 3.
