RECTOR, AR (KAIT) – A Region 8 painter and his son are giving the Rector Mural a facelift.

Rector's city mural is one of the first things you see as you cross the tracks into town.   Painter Terry Graddy and his son,  Burt, are putting the final touches on the mural.  It was originally painted by Sandy Midkiff nearly 20 years ago.

The reaction to the facelift so far has been positive.  "We have had a lot of people come by and tell us it looks good," says Terry Graddy, "It's just been pretty amazing. Everybody  hollers and honks and really seem to be pleased with everything."

The mural is painted on a building at the corner of Highway 90 and West 55th street.
