LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say four homes have been destroyed by a large grass fire in a central Arkansas town, but no injuries have been reported.
Arkansas Department of Emergency Management spokesman Chad Stover says Arkansas Forestry Commission crews used bulldozers to help volunteer fire departments contain the blaze in Holland Wednesday night. Stover says two of the homes affected in the Faulkner County town weren't occupied.
In Little Rock, crews worked to extinguish a brush fire on the city's west side. Officials say no houses were threatened but residents in several homes off LaMarche Drive have been warned about the nearby blaze.
No injuries were immediately reported with that fire
