Weekend shooting lands man in jail; damage to car and home

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KAIT) – A shooting rampage over the weekend in Poplar Bluff lands one man in jail, and damage to a car and home.

According to the Poplar Bluff Police Department, 28-year-old Jerry Crouch Junior fired shots into a car and a home in the 900 block of Nooney Street.

Police were called to the area around 2am Saturday for shots fired. Police say Crouch Junior fired several rounds into a car, and two of the rounds passed through the car and hit a home.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Crouch Junior was arrested at his home later that morning. He's charged with unlawful use of a weapon and is in the Butler County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
