TYRONZA-- Red, white, and blue filled Main Street today as Tyronza's Stars and Stripes Jubilee brought out everyone in the community.
"Sometimes our busy schedules get in the way and they don't allow us to get together and enjoy our next door neighbors," said Tyronza Mayor Marion Bearden.
Whether you wanted a reunion with a friend, or a ride around town, the Stars and Stripes Jubilee had it all. "This is a good way to come out, say hello, give a hug, and relax,"said Bearden.
One of today's main events was a parade welcoming home two soldiers who recently returned home from duty in Iraq. "The reception I had in Marked Tree, with my family members there was just awesome,"said soldier Earnie Branch.
"Sometimes I just look at him and am so glad he's home. I have got cold chills just thinking about it right now.....but it's just really good.....good to have him home," said Branch's wife, Loretta Branch.
