High school students got to shadow medical professionals and learn things like CPR, first aid, and vital sign training.
NEA Baptist Registered Nurse Marci Walton says this is great experience for the participants. "They get hands on experience they wouldn't get anywhere else and they are guided on a one on one nature. They're able to ask questions and get a response, not just reading out of a book."
Truman High School student Julia Jones says this camp was a little different than what she was expecting. "You think it's something else then you come here and you learn all this new stuff."
