Cooking fire causes damage to a north Jonesboro home

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A small fire damaged a family's kitchen in north Jonesboro.

The Jonesboro Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire at 115 Drake Street.

Fire crews worked quickly to put out the small cooking fire.

A Jonesboro firefighter said the home's kitchen sustained considerable damage, but no family members were injured.

Several of the family's pets did suffer smoke inhalation, but firefighters used oxygen to revive them.
