JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A head-on collision between two trucks on Highway 63 south closes the road for over an hour and sends two to the Med in Memphis.
According to Arkansas State Police, a black pickup truck was going north and attempting to pass a slow car with its flashers on when she lost control, crossed the median, and hit another pickup truck head-on in the southbound lane.
The accident occurred around 1:15p at the Nestle Exit on Highway 63 south. Both drivers had to be airlifted to the Med in Memphis. No word on the extent of their injuries.
All lanes of Highway 63 are back open at this time.
