Murdered Memphian's Burned Body Found in Crittenden County

MEMPHIS, TN - Federal authorities are charging four men with kidnapping a Memphis resident whose burned body was found in eastern Arkansas last week.

Police say Jerrell Lott was abducted by robbers who forced him into his car Wednesday night.  His body was found in Crittenden County on Thursday.

The 31-year-old man had been shot and set on fire.  His car was found burned in Memphis.

Sonny Shields, Shannon Shields, Lendzo Parker and James Stafford, all of Memphis, were charged in a federal complaint with taking part in a kidnapping that resulted in death.

The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.
