FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – While this man may have given his photographer the "stink eye," police said there was a reason he had to have a mug shot taken.

Investigating officers arrested Erwin K. Hampton, of Forrest City, at the Shell Superstop located at 105 E. Broadway after they said they found ".8 grams of crack and powder cocaine" on his person.

Police said the drugs were packaged for sale, which has an enhanced penalty.

Hampton does have multiple drug arrests and conviction under his belt, said police, and he was charged for this crime with possession of cocaine with purpose to deliver in proximity of a certain facility (within 1,000 feet of 6 churches).

Hampton is currently in the St. Francis County Jail pending arraignment.
