CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Arkansas State Police have released the woman's name who was killed Wednesday July 4 on Highway 18.
According to Arkansas State Police, 77-year-old Bonnie Sue McAfee was headed westbound on Highway 18 when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle then rolled over into the construction area on the highway.
The Craighead County Coroner's office pronounced the woman dead on the scene.
According to the Arkansas State Police report, McAfee was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.
There was no one else in the car besides the female driver and her dog. We are told the dog is okay.
