Jonesboro, AR -- A Jonesboro bank robber is still at large.

Jonesboro police are still on the lookout for a suspected bank robber who fled on foot Tuesday afternoon, after holding up the Southern Bank of Commerce on Nettleton Avenue in Jonesboro.

Officials say bank employees were startled after the man held them up at gun point demanding money.  "Everyone was shook up as anyone would be in a situation like this," said Captain Scott Roper with the Jonesboro Police Department.

Police say the robbery happened at approximately 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

As seen in a surveillance video, he's described as a six foot white male, wearing blue jeans, a BUM Equipment sweatshirt, and a baseball cap, he also has a mustache and wears glasses. Officials collected finger-prints and spent the afternoon searching several blocks in the vicinity of the bank.

"We're trying to get all our facts, and we're still searching for the individual, hopefully things will develop and we can go further on this investigation," said Roper.

This is not the first robbery at this particular bank. Back in march of last year two men were arrested for the same incident.

Bank employees have been instructed to keep quiet on this matter, but for now a man is still at large.
