UPDATE: Police still searching for bank robbery suspect

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Jonesboro Police continue to search for a man who robbed a bank at 2701 on East Highland on July 6.

JPD says they have had a few interviews with people about the robberies and have followed up on some tips they've received.

According to Craighead County Dispatch, the First National Bank on Highland Drive and Fair Park Boulevard was robbed around 4pm.

Police say they are looking for a white male standing 6 foot 3 inches tall, blonde hair, wearing a red shirt, red hat, khaki pants, and had glasses and a blonde colored beard. He was last seen leaving the bank in a dark gray older model Jeep Cherokee.

Police say the man showed a gun and a knife, and is considered armed and dangerous.

There is no word if any customers were inside the bank at the time of the robbery, or how much money the suspect got away with.

No injuries have been reported.
