FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – After executing
a search warrant at the Shell Superstop in Forrest City, police said they seized
several gambling machines.
Investigators with the Forrest City
Police Department told Region 8 News that seven gambling machines were taken
from the business on 105 East Broadway in connection with a gambling
investigation. In addition to the gambling machines, police said they also
found over $1,500 in cash, receipts, and other items.
The machines were taken to the Forrest
City Police Department and opened; the contents were also taken in as evidence.
Officers said the case will be
submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review. No one has been
arrested, but charges are expected in the future.
