KENNETT, MO (KAIT) – Another Region 8 city is considering a saggy pants ordinance.
The Kennett City Council will be discussing a possible ordinance for the below the waist fashion Tuesday night.
The ordinance hasn't been written yet. City Attorney Terry McVey has the task of writing the ordinance. In an email to Region 8 News, McVey says he has not written a draft of the ordinance he is comfortable with.
The Osco City Council also considered a ban on saggy pants back in April. It stated that those in violation could be fined for the fashion trend.
