Searcy, AR (KAIT) – Police have arrested a
man in connection to an armed robbery in March of this year.
According to Searcy Police Detective Scott
Thomas, on March 10th a male entered the Moms and Pops Tobacco Store in Searcy
wearing a camouflage jacket and bandana over his face. Thomas says the man then
pointed a handgun at store employees and began to demand money.
Over the course of the investigation, Searcy
Police developed Canvas Laron Shell as the suspect.
They arrested Shell on July 5th and charged
him with aggravated robbery.
He is being held in the White County
Detention Center in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.
