GREEN BAY, WI (Green Bay Press Gazette) - Bradley Wallace's transformation from struggling sophomore pitcher at Arkansas State to the ace of the Green Bay Bullfrogs pitching staff happened almost over night.
He's not about to be just a flash-in-the-pan, though.
After a disappointing sophomore campaign with the Red Wolves that saw his ERA climb to 8.29 and hitters batting at a .347 clip against him, Wallace knew he was better than that. His coaches knew it to, and told him to come up to Green Bay, trust your stuff and just believe in yourself.
"As a sophomore I put so much pressure on myself that every time I went out there I was pitching to keep my spot instead of just going out there to have fun." Wallace said. "Every time I go out there now I just remember what my pitching coach said; to just be me and not try to be somebody else."
