One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

NEWPORT, AR (KAIT) - Newport Police went on a 180 mph chase after they witnessed a motorcyclist pop a wheelie and then begin to speed down the highway.
As authorities tried to pull the cyclist, Roy Will Watkins, over he sped over 180 mph but he eventually lost control and struck a building.
As Watkins tried to flee by foot, his clothes got entangled in the motorcycle.
When police caught up with Watkins, they found drug paraphernalia, plastic baggies of meth, and a bag of marijuana.
Roy Watkins is currently in a Jonesboro hospital receiving treatment.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital has treated so many babies born dependent on prescription drugs that the facility is now helping other medical centers around the country deal with the crisis.
