"Hold the lettuce!": Employee puts his foot in BK meals

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -There's a controversy brewing at an Ohio Burger King.  A person who claims to work at the Burger King in Mayfield Heights posted a disgusting picture on a social networking site.

It shows an employee standing on top of the lettuce. The employee is reportedly a long-time worker there.

19 Action News called the Burger King on Mayfield Road and the manager wouldn't comment.

Burger King did release this statement: "We are aware of the photo that was allegedly posted by an employee and are taking the issue very seriously. We are investigating the matter and will take appropriate action as necessary."
