IMBODEN, AR (KAIT) -A man accused of robbing an Imboden bank appeared in court today.

According to Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce, Randall Morris' attorney entered a not guilty plea in court today.

A judge set his trial date for October 29th.

The Ravenden, Arkansas man is behind bars after a bank robbery in Imboden on July 20th.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson a man walked into the Citizens Bank in Imboden just before 3:00pm Friday and robbed the bank.  Sheriff Dotson says video surveillance shows the suspect jumping the counter, grabbing a handful of money and running out of the building.  He then ran to another business and stole a car.

Police had a good description of the suspect and a deputy in the area spotted the getaway car within minutes.  He was pulled over and taken into custody without incident.  Dotson says the Arkansas State Police, Black Rock Police, and Hoxie Police all helped with the search.

Officers arrested Randall Morris of Ravenden for the bank robbery.  Dotson says Randolph County Sheriff's office will likely charge Morris with stealing the car.  Dotson says most, if not all of the money was recovered from the car.
