Two Izard County residents arrested for firearms possession at local motel

Two people face several charges after Izard County Sheriff's deputies arrested them at a local motel. Two people face several charges after Izard County Sheriff's deputies arrested them at a local motel.

IZARD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Two people face several charges after Izard County Sheriff's deputies arrested them at a local motel.

Deputies arrested Ricky Lake, 33, and Tanya Turner, 42, at the Melbourne Motel last Tuesday.

The pair were both charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Lake also faces a drug possession charge and charges out of Oklahoma.

Turner is out of jail tonight after posting bond, while Lake remains in the Izard County Jail.
