Police: Fayetteville woman has died after shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Police in Fayetteville say a woman who was shot in the head has died and that the suspect is not in custody and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police say 39-year-old Jessica Stewart died Monday at a Fayetteville hospital where she was taken following the shooting on Sunday.

Sgt. Craig Stout told the Northwest Arkansas Times (http://bit.ly/N9APpo ) that police are seeking 40-year-old Eric Frankenhauser in connection with the shooting.

Stewart's body was found outside the home where she lived with Frankenhauser.

Stout said Monday that police are also in contact with authorities in Pennsylvania because Frankenhauser is believed to have ties to Philadelphia.
