JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro Police told Region 8 News that former tenants left a house on South Culberhouse vandalized after they were evicted. Evidence of the vandalism is visible from the outside, but it's pictures taken inside show how extensive the damage was. Now, there's a warrant out for the arrest of the former tenants, Phillip "Brett" Long and Amie Eggers-Long.

According to the police report, the two were renting the house from a woman who currently lives in Oregon. Once they failed to pay their rent, they were evicted. However, before they left, they allegedly destroyed the inside of the home.

The homeowner gave Brett and Amie until August 6th to vacate the house. On the morning of the 7th, the police report states the homeowner received an email from the Longs saying they'd "officially moved out."

That's when the homeowner had her mother, a Region 8 resident, check up on the home. What she found inside was described in the police report as leaving the house "damaged beyond repair."

Photos show buckets of pink paint splashed on the walls and windows with trash strewn across the floor of the room. The report states that other rooms were in the same state, with "junk on the floor, from clothing to trash to rotting food."

That rotting food can be seen in two pictures sent to Region 8 News by the Jonesboro Police Department. One photo shows the "unknown substances smeared on the walls, on the floor and counters." Other pictures show wooden sticks stuck into the ceiling of a downstairs room.

A photo of a bathroom shows blue paint thrown all over a tub and toilet. The police report states that toilet also appeared to be broken.

The police report states that the paint and damage appeared to have been done as the tenants were moving out. However, feces that were found in every room of the house looked as if they'd been there for "an extended period of time." The police report also states that the homeowner advised police that the family had been living there with eight children.

That's just some of the damage which is estimated to be at $300,000. Because the damage exceeded $25,000, Brett and Amie Long will face felony criminal mischief charges once caught.

Police need your help finding the two. Amie Eggers-Long is described as being a 27-year-old white female standing around 5'3" tall and weighing 175 lbs. Phillip "Brett" Long is described as a 30-year-old white male standing 6'3" and weighing 250 lbs. If you know where police can find either Amie or Brett Long, call CrimeStoppers at 935-STOP.
