Man killed by Little Rock police in shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Little Rock police say a man has been shot and killed by an officer responding to a domestic disturbance call.
Sgt. Cassandra Davis told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette ( ) that two officers responded to the call about 4:30 p.m. and found a man and woman arguing inside the home.
Davis says only that the man was shot during an "altercation" with the officers and that he died after being taken to a local hospital.
Davis did not release the names of the man or the officers involved. She said the officers will be placed on paid leave pending an investigation of the shooting.
