Tyronza first responders undergo the latest paramedic training

TYRONZA, AR (KAIT) - A group of first responders are brushing up on the latest in paramedic training in Tyronza.

Around twenty emergency responders from police, fire and ambulance services gathered at the Tyronza Fire Department to go through a class with the Hospital Wing out of Memphis on the latest in emergency response.

Tommy Baine, Tyronza Fire Department Chief, says this training is paramount, "to stay up with the trauma system, here, in Arkansas and everything else. Training changes every day. You learn something new every day."

The course includes sixteen hours of class and field training.
