Baby gorilla born at Arkansas zoo

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The gorilla population has grown by one at the Little Rock Zoo.

Officials announced Thursday the birth of a baby gorilla. The gorilla was born on Sunday and is the second baby gorilla ever born at the zoo.

Officials say the baby and its mother are doing fine. The name of the baby and its gender weren't released.

The zoo will hold a baby shower for the gorilla and its family on Sept. 29.
