One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT)- Two Forrest City men face several charges including attempted murder after a robbery.
According to the Forrest City Police Department, Dominique Tobar, 18, and Jeremy Buchanan, 20, jumped a male as he was leaving a relative's house on August 12th. The victim say the men also put a gun to his head.
The victim told police that he was shot and wounded, while resisting being robbed by Tobar and Buchanan.
Police say that one of the suspects dropped the gun, but the victim picked it up.
At a later time, the victim said the suspects confronted him and asked him to return the gun. Police say that was when the victim was able to identify them.
Tobar and Buchanan face the charges of aggravated robbery, criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, and conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital has treated so many babies born dependent on prescription drugs that the facility is now helping other medical centers around the country deal with the crisis.
