FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT)- A Forrest City teen has been arrested for breaking into a home.
Forrest City police were called to a burglary in process at the intersection of Davis and West streets. When the first responding officer arrived on the scene, he saw a person climb into the window of a home and immediately climb back out. The person was then followed by a second person.
Police say both persons then fled on foot.
Officer later arrested Demarcio Jamar Heard, 18, of Forrest City. Police say during their search of Heard, they found a small baggie containing marijuana in his pants pocket.
Heard has been charged with breaking or entering and possession of marijuana (less than four ounces). He was arraigned on August 27th in the St. Francis County District Court.
