Glen Campbell Sentenced

June 15, 2004 -- Posted at 1:15 PM CDT

(PHOENIX-AP) -- He'll be an inmate of the county for ten nights. That's the sentence handed down in Phoenix to singer Glen Campbell for a hit-and-run accident.

Campbell will be allowed out of jail each day for 12 hours for work furlough. He's to begin his sentence July 1.

Campbell also was fined 900 dollars, placed on probation for two years and ordered to serve 75 hours of community service.

He pleaded guilty last month to leaving the scene of an accident and driving under the influence. He was arrested in November near his Phoenix home following a minor collision.
