Ark. highway lane to close for drilling project

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department says it will close a lane of U.S. Highway 67 while crews perform geo-technical sampling on the road next week.
Officials say the northbound, inside lane near the Main Street Exit to be closed from Wednesday night through Friday night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Officials are urging motorists to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
