Commission Report: Pentagon Missed Chance to Intercept Hijacked Plane on 9-11

WASHINGTON, DC - The latest report from the Nine-Eleven commission says the Pentagon's air defense command missed a chance to possibly intercept at least one of the hijacked planes on the day of the attacks.

The report says confusion and lack of communication led to aviation and military officials wasting precious time as the attacks happened.

The report also says the ringleader of the Nine-Eleven hijackers told passengers on one of the hijacked planes, "Just stay quiet.  We are returning to the airport."
