JONESBORO, Ark. (AStateRedWolves.com) – The Arkansas State women's bowling team announced its schedule for the 2012-13 season on Monday. The Red Wolves will have nine regular season tournaments, the first which begins in mid-October.
ASU opens its season Oct. 19-21 in New Orleans, La., at the Tulane Collegiate Invitational. The team will then participate in the Crusader Classic Nov. 9-11 hosted by Valparaiso University, followed by a trip to the Kat Klash Invitational hosted by Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Texas.
"We are looking forward to getting prepared for the season," ASU bowling coach Justin Kostick said. "We are starting the year a little earlier than we have in the past, but I think it will be a positive change for us. We have a lot of our core players coming back and have a strong incoming freshman class. The team the last five years has been knocking on the door for a national championship and hopefully this is the season we open the door."

The Morgan State Invitational will be held Feb. 15-17 in Baltimore, Md., and the squad will conclude play in the month of February with a trip to Bessemer, Ala., for the Holiday City Classic.
