FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – A fight between two women in front of Sherwin Williams led to a double arrest for Forrest City Police.

An officer was on his way to work when he noticed 51-year-old Terri Clay and 50-yr-old Linda Catlett, both residents of Forrest City, fighting in front of the store September 6, according to the police department.

Upon retrieving the women's personal property from their car, the arresting officer said he found two prescription pill bottles with the labels torn off, containing a white, granular substance which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. The report stated that the total weight of the substance came to 59.5 grams.

Catlett and Clay were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and both had outstanding warrants.

Anyone with information about illegal drug activity is asked to contact the Forrest City Police Department at (870) 633-3434 or the Forrest City Crime Stoppers at (870) 261-1499.  All calls to the crime stoppers number are anonymous.
