JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Jonesboro police are searching for two men who broke into a home, shot a man four times, and robbed him.

According to Jonesboro Police,  just after 12 a.m. Wednesday two men broke into a home located on the 1800 block of Mitzi Lane and demanded money.

Police said during the robbery, a 25-year-old man was shot four times in his legs, and was hit in the head with a gun.

The man was airlifted to the MED in Memphis and was released Wednesday afternoon.

Bob Rice has lived in the neighborhood where the home invasion happened since 1994.  Rice said the neighborhood is mostly quiet, but has changed in the last few years.

"There's been a lot of people move in and out, and as far as being safe, there's a lot of traffic up and down the road. Kids going up and down the road and that kind of stuff," he said. "Policemen patrol it quite often."

Police would not comment about the investigation, but provided a description of the two suspects as black males, one standing about six feet, two inches and the other around five feet, nine inches.

Police said a 13-year-old and a four-year-old were in the home at the time of the shooting. They were not injured.

Anyone with information can call the Jonesboro Police Department at 935-STOP.
