DONIPHAN, AR (KAIT) – A search effort is underway in Southeast Missouri. The Hartland Pit Stop in Doniphan apparently sold a $1 million Powerball ticket this past weekend, but the winner has yet to come
A Southeast Missouri woman wrapped up a big week by taking home a piece of the record $600 million Powerball jackpot.
PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT)- Region 8 golfers teed up to help a local hospital.
This afternoon at the Paragould Country Club, a check was presented to the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Foundation in the amount of 47-thousand dollars! The money will be used to help A-M-M-C serve the community better.
Terry Austin, Director of the AMMC Foundation says, "We've put that into projects like new ambulances for communities like Rector and Corning. We have a basis in both of those towns."
Austin also says in the last 11-years that they've held the tournament, they've raised 600-thousand dollars. That money has been used to buy whatever the hospital needs, including new medical equipment and hospital renovations.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is naming Dan Bartlett, who had been president and CEO of the U.S. arm of global public relations firm Hill & Knowlton, as its new executive vice president of corporate affairs.
