BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Saturday night the Tigers finished off the Idaho Vandals 63-14 and attention quickly turned to the Auburn Tigers, LSU's first SEC matchup and road trip. Here's a taste of "What They are Saying" about #2 LSU and Auburn:

From OANow.com:

"I looked after we got the win. I wanted to see the reaction," Whitaker said. "And the reaction was, 'Hey, we got the win, we've got to move on.' And I think the celebration was probably the fight song in the locker room, but after that we went on to LSU."

From the Ledger Enquirer:

"I just think they're excited that they're excited that a game like this is coming back home," Chizik said. "This is why you come to Auburn, to play in great games like this."

From the Washington Post:

A 63-14 blowout of Idaho on Saturday, which helped the Tigers climb to No. 2 in the AP poll, served as the latest reminder that LSU's sideline is loaded with exceptional players waiting for their chance to shine.

From ESPN:

The Southeastern Conference rivals were ranked first and second for eight weeks during last season before eventually meeting in the BCS title game.

From CBS Sports:

The Tigers cruised to a 63-14 win over Idaho on Saturday. We might not get a true sense for how good this team is until it travels to Florida on Oct. 6. Last week's power ranking: 2. Next up: at Auburn, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)

From AL.com:

Auburn's defense turns attention to LSU after being 'embarrassed' in Baton Rouge last year.
