Marion Police release photo, more details of suspected bank robber

MARION, AR (KAIT) – Police in Marion are releasing new details in a Wednesday afternoon bank robbery.

According to Marion Police, they are looking for a black male, age 35-45 years old, wearing a purple long sleeve shirt, and a tan/brown ball cap.

Police say the suspect may have been driving or a passenger in a midsized gold or tan color car. Police were no able to give a make or model.

Marion Police say around 1 p.m. Wednesday, a man entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money.

Police say the suspect did not show any weapon, nor did he make a suggestion that he was armed.

The suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash.

Police are asking the public to contact them at (870) 739-2101 if they have any information.
