CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KAIT) – Seven people were arrested in CaruthersvilleThursday after police broke up a large group of people blocking a roadway andloitering.
According to the Caruthersville Police Department, fourteens and three adults—Tyrese Hyles, Jr., Travis Murray, and James Johnson, all18—were taken into custody September 19.
Officers had been called to East 13th St. andVest in reference to a large group of people standing in the roadway andblocking traffic; police had to disperse the crowd with the help of thePemiscot County Sheriff's Department.
Police said the four teens were later released to their parentswith summons to appear at the Pemiscot County Juvenile Office to answer tounlawful assembly and loitering charges. The three man were held in thePemiscot County Jail on the same charges in lieu of $410 cash only bond.
Hyles also had anactive warrant charging him with no operator's license with a cash only bondset at $129.50.
