JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Hundreds gathered at Craighead Forest Park in Jonesboro on Saturday for the 3rd Annual Mothers of Angels Walk to Remember.
Mothers of Angels is a not-for-profit group for parents who have lost children of any age in any manner.
A statue was revealed near the entrance of Craighead Forest, where parents to come and remember their children.
Dora Edings lost her child in a car accident. She says it's important for parents to have this kind of support group. "We have learned to understand that we are not the only ones who feel this way." Edings said. "It helps everyone understand that we all have these feelings and these are not an unusual feeling that we have. It's our grief walk that we go through and we help each other through that."
People were able to purchase t-shirts and make donations to complete the Mothers of Angels Memorial.
