JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - To help one of their own, Braces by Burris held a benefit yard sale Saturday Morning.
Eberle Grimmer is the office manager at Braces by Burris. She was recently diagnosed with stage four bone cancer and lung cancer.
To help Eberle's family, her co-workers put on the yard sale.
Dana Fletcher says the outpouring of support from the community is amazing. "Everybody is being selfless and they're giving all of this." Fletcher said at the yard sale. "People are just walking up and giving money. They're bringing brand new clothes with tags on them and it's just worthwhile. It's worthwhile to help her."
Their goal for the day was $1500. By 9 a.m., they'd exceeded $3,000 raised for Eberle.
They ended at noon and everything that wasn't sold went to Abilities Unlimited. If you'd still like to help out Eberle's family, you can swing by Braces by Burris and make a donation.
