JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Kids and families headed out to the Crowley's Ridge Nature Center to celebrate the 6th annual Fall Family Fair.
Over five hundred people went to the center to celebrate National Hunting and Fish Day.
Cody Walker with the Nature Center says these activities help focus on wildlife and fish conservation. "[We're] starting them out early with all these fun games and getting to tour the nature center that's the first step forward in starting conservation in Arkansas."
Kids were able to practice archery, play around at the BB gun range and get their faces painted.
The Little Rock Zoo was also a part of the Birds of Prey program. Kids had the opportunity to be in line for winning prizes if they caught "tagged" fish.
