A judge has moved up the sentencing date for the man who pleaded guilty in Tucson shooting rampage that wounded former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
U.S. District Judge Larry Burns issued an order Friday resetting Jared Lee Loughner's sentencing date for Nov. 8.
Prosecutors sought the change because they said some victims of the shooting had scheduling conflicts on the earlier sentencing date of Nov. 15.
Loughner's attorneys didn't object to moving the sentencing up by one week.
Loughner pleaded guilty in early August to 19 counts under a plea agreement that guarantees he will spend the rest of his life in prison and makes him ineligible for parole.
Six people were killed and Giffords and 12 others were wounded in the January 2011 attack.
