National Drug Take-Back Day sets locations in Region 8

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel wants to encourage everyone to participate in Drug Take-Back Day.

This is a national initiative and focuses on taking unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs, and destroying them in a safe manner.

The Jonesboro Police Department currently has a permanent drop off box right outside their door at the Justice Complex on Washington Avenue.

There were also locations in Paragould, Walnut Ridge, Harrisburg, Bay, and Wiener. For more information, including other permanent locations, visit www.artakeback.org.
