The Harding men's cross country team placed 17th of 19 teams in the University Division race of the 76th Annual Cowboy Jamboree, hosted Saturday by Oklahoma State University.
Harding finished with 427 points in the 8K race. Junior Lajos Farkas led the Bisons with an 84th-place finish among 178 runners in 26 minutes, 59.53 seconds, earning Harding 63 points. Sophomore Logan Green was second among Harding runners with a 102nd-place finish in a time of 27:23.44.
Harding's three other scoring runners were junior Matt Cumpian (115th, 27:46.74), junior Andrew Evans (125th, 28:03.15) and sophomore Zach Uhiren (135th, 28:18.13).
Oklahoma State won the meet with 20 points, and OSU's Shadrack Kipchirchir was the individual winner in 24:29.17.
Harding's next action is at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark., on Oct. 13.
