One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – St. Bernards was out in their Mammography Mobile Unit in Jonesboro offering free breast exams to Region 8 Woman on Friday.
Women wanting a free exam were able to go to the Temple Baptist Church. All they had to do was fill out paperwork.
Jonesboro resident Margaret McKinney says she got her first mammogram 2 years ago and now makes it a point to do it every year. "You never know whether or not you have something wrong and they need to detect it early and it's not as bad as people might think." McKinney said.
Nurse Educator, Marti Whitehead, says you need to get your exams done now if you haven't already. "It's so important that women receive their first annual mammogram screenings." Whitehead said. "We follow the American Cancer Society's Guidelines which states that a woman should have a mammogram once a year every year once they turn 40. And the key to breast cancer survival is early detection, early detection, and early detection."
The American Cancer Society says some women, because of their family history, a genetic tendency, or certain other factors, should be screened with an MRI in addition to mammograms.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital has treated so many babies born dependent on prescription drugs that the facility is now helping other medical centers around the country deal with the crisis.
