Harding's cross country teams won both races with perfect scores at the Arkansas Tech Meet on Friday.
Harding's men had the top nine finishers in a race against five runners
from University of the Ozarks and two more from Central Baptist College
and scored 15 points. Ozarks had 50 points.
Freshman
Dawid Konieczek won the
four-mile race in 20 minutes, 22 seconds in his Harding debut. Sophomore
Lajos
Farkas was second (20:23), followed by sophomore
Logan
Green (20:26), junior Matt Cumpian (20:31), and junior
Taylor
Lively (20:55).
Harding's women had the top five finishers and seven of the top eight in
winning their race with 15 points. Arkansas Tech had 50 points.
Sophomore
Ewa Zaborowska won the
two-mile women's race in 11:18. Sophomore
Rachel
Roberts was second (11:54), followed by freshman
Tammy
Kim (12:10), freshman
Kelsey Taylor
(12:16), and sophomore
Amber Priest
(12:24).
Harding's teams compete next at the Chile Pepper Festival, hosted on Oct. 13 by the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
